About

Living by Chemistry, Fourth Edition is a hands-on, real-world approach to learning high school chemistry. Instead of just memorizing facts and formulas, students explore everyday questions like “What is fire?” or “How does smell work?” and build scientific understanding by doing experiments, solving problems, and making connections to the world around them.

This edition includes updated content aligned to modern science standards, new practice questions, visual concept maps, and features that highlight real-world careers in chemistry. Designed to support all learners, the program encourages curiosity, collaboration, and confidence.

Your course may also use Achieve, the companion digital platform, for reading, homework, and extra support.
